Services

Pediatric occupational therapy supports developmental milestones, motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and social-emotional skills. Using play-based activities, I address delays or challenges and empower caregivers with strategies to integrate therapy into daily routines. The goal is to enhance the child’s ability to explore, learn, and participate in meaningful activities within their natural environments.

Evaluation

Assesses developmental milestones, motor skills, sensory processing, self-care abilities, and social-emotional development. Through play-based observations, standardized tests, and caregiver interviews, I identify the child’s strengths, challenges, and any delays compared to typical milestones. Recommendations include therapy goals, home strategies, and potential referrals to other specialists to support the child’s overall development in a family-centered approach.

Intervention

Focuses on promoting developmental milestones, enhancing sensory processing, improving motor skills, and supporting self-care abilities like feeding and dressing. Through play-based activities and caregiver coaching, I address delays or challenges while fostering skills needed for exploration, interaction, and independence. Interventions are tailored to the child’s needs and integrated into daily routines to maximize progress in a family-centered approach.

Consultation

Involves guiding and supporting caregivers, educators, and other team members to promote the child’s development within natural environments. Rather than providing direct therapy, I offer strategies, resources, and activity ideas tailored to the child’s needs, empowering caregivers to implement therapeutic interventions during daily routines. This collaborative, family-centered approach focuses on enhancing the child’s participation and success in everyday activities.
